The eCOST MPOB system assists licensees in accurately monitoring and estimating the costs incurred throughout their operations. The system monitors costs throughout the supply chain of crude palm oil (CPO) production, from the nursery to the oil palm estate and palm oil mill stages. All licensees are required to submit this information annually. The data from the system aids in better decision-making and supports policy design for industry development.
